Mufflers

Cerini manufactures and sells absorption rectilinear and cylindrical mufflers. The company also sells just the sound deadening panels to be fitted in existing ducts.

Rectilinear mufflers have been designed particularly for use in air conditioning and ventilation systems.

Cylindrical mufflers are normally used to reduce the noise levels of fans and ventilation systems.

Generals

Rectilinear mufflers. The standard absorption mufflers consist of an external casing made of galvanized sheet metal that contains the soundproofing sections. The mineral fibre soundproofing sections have an erosion-resistant fibreglass coating with neoprene and are contained in galvanzied sheet metal sections and are arranged longitudinally. The mufflers are supplied with a flange.

Cylindrical mufflers. The mufflers consist of a closed external sheet metal casing containing the soundproofing materials which are covered by a drilled sheet. If a greater noise reduction is required, a soundproof ogive is fitted in the centre of the muffler. The covering in glass silk and perforated sheet prevents any risk of the soundproofing material being removed, even at high air speeds. Silenziatori
